Want to learn to compost?

Come learn to compost! Learn how to turn kitchen scraps and yard trimmings into a nutrient-rich soil amendment. Compost bins, worm bins, and mulch are available all composting workshops, while supplies last. City of Los Angeles residents can purchase compost bins them at a discounted rate of $20 (checks only, proof of residency required). All sales are final. 
At the South LA Wetlands location, a smart gardening workshop begins immediately following the home composting workshop.  There is no cost to attend.

Bagged TOPGRO soil amendment is available at the Lopez Canyon and South LA Wetlands locations.  FREE MULCH is available at both locations as well—please bring your own container and shovel. Please note that events may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather; feel free to call in advance.
