With a focus on building community and meaningful connections, Alive Together: Uniting to Prevent Suicide supports survivors of suicide loss and attempts worldwide.
The global gathering encourages supporters to walk 2,160 steps (about 1 mile) at Exposition Park in Los Angeles – or in communities around the world – in remembrance of the 2,160 people lost globally to suicide each day.
Join Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services on Sunday, November 14th from 8am - 11am at Expo Park. Guest speakers and celebrities will share stories and support alongside community-building activities and our beloved memorial quilts and memory trees. Integration of these and other activities on social media and other digital formats will engage people worldwide to come together in support of survivors and suicide prevention.
