Voices NC

About Us

The purpose of the Voices Neighborhood Council is to stand as an advisory body on issues of concern to the community. We are the first form of Government representation between City, Congress, Senate, LAPD, Fire Department and the Mayors office. Our purpose is to ensure that your voices are heard in the City of Los Angeles, uniting and empowering all Stakeholders within the community.

We are a Board of Directors which is similar to City Council. Our Board consists of a Chair or President, Vice Chair or Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Parliamentarian to Community, Housing, Education and Area Representatives. Each invidual is either appointed or elected with an exclusive responsibility to represent the community within these collaborative roles. With over four million people in the City of Los Angeles, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. Thats where we come in, We ensure your voices are heard.

* All board and committee meetings will be held IN-PERSON.
Join us for our monthly board meetings:
Voices NC General Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at Vermont Square Library, 1201 W. 48th St., unless otherwise noted on the calendar and posted agenda.
