Time Sensitive: Emergency Renters Relief Program

The application period for the Emergency Renters Relief Program is opened. The Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) will be accepting applications for rental assistance subsidies between Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17.

Due to the expected high volume of applicants applying, HCIDLA is asking individuals to exercise patience during the process as applications will be accepted 24 hours per day until July 17 at 11:59 p.m. to be included in the random drawing.

HCIDLA encourages individuals to apply online at https://hcidla.lacity.org. For more information on eligibility, click on the flyer below.

For tenants that do not speak English or do not have computer access, they may call the hotline at 844-944-1868. The hotline will be available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day during the application period. The program is open to all renters, regardless of immigration status.
